Steffen Lehmann has been a Partner at MSM Capital since 2009.
He holds a master's degree from the University of Münster and the University of St. Gallen / Switzerland (1987). Furthermore, he holds a PhD in Business from the University of Trier (1993).
From 1988 to 1992, he worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group with focusing on shareholder value / M&A, advising leading European corporations. After his consulting career, he led midsized companies in the healthcare industry for four years. His management activities included restructuring and acquisitions.
As an M&A advisor between 1996 and 2000, he focused on transactions in the areas of media, telecom and high-tech. He has worked successfully on large transactions for VEBA and Deutsche Bank (DB Investor), as well as on transactions for start-ups such as Getmobile.
In 2000, he joined the private equity sector and co-founded the High-tech Venture Capital Fund "e-millennium" together with Partners and with Deutsche Bank as the lead Investor. Among others, one of its successful investments was into Suse Linux.
Since 2004, he has successfully been focusing on M&A mandates in the automotive and healthcare industry.
In 2009, he joined MSM Capital, and today works as a Senior Network Partner.
